AvMA is an independent, UK-wide charity that campaigns for justice for people affected by medical accidents. It also works for better patient safety and provides free advice on the medical and legal issues connected with medical accidents.
Advisors with medical and legal training can explain your rights, help explain medical issues, tell you how to get an investigation and advise whether you might be entitled to financial compensation. Where necessary, AvMA can put you in touch with a solicitor who specialises in medical negligence.
AvMA can also introduce you to people who've had experiences similar to yours, or put you in touch with other sources of specialist support.
