NPSA Comment on NHS Confederation Survey results on future opportunities and threats for the NHS

“We’ve been pushing the Patient Safety agenda since the NPSA’s inception in 2001. Sometimes it’s been challenging to get the message across that Patient Safety needs to be the top consideration for all organisations providing care to NHS Patients.

 

“The NHS Confederation survey demonstrates that our message is now getting through and many more people involved in healthcare are giving safety the attention it deserves.

 

“We will continue to work with the whole healthcare community to share learning and make patients safer”
