NPSA Annual Report & Accounts for 2007/08

The National Patient Safety Agency (NPSA) today releases its latest Annual Report for 2007/08.

 

The report outlines the achievements of the Agency in the last financial year and its progress in asserting patient safety on the healthcare agenda.

 

The NPSA’s three delivery divisions, the National Clinical Assessment Service, National Research Ethics Service and Patient Safety made considerable achievements throughout the year and the annual report outlines these in detail.

 

Martin Fletcher, Chief Executive of the NPSA said:

 

“This has been a significant year for the National Patient Safety Agency. We have continued to build and strengthen our work in patient safety, research ethics and clinical assessment.

 

“Working in partnership with local NHS bodies and national health organisations, including the royal colleges, has been a key theme for all our work this year, and something that we hope to continue and strengthen in the year ahead.”
